Voice activation to respond to voice command and speech synthesis areavailable on a single printed circuit board -- Voice Activation andSpeech Synthesis Model VRS-200. The system's computer-generated speechpatterns can also annunciate any desired audio cue, alert, warning, ormessage. VRS-200 is user friendly, and no training is required prior touse. The module provides a hands-free and eyes-free man-machine interfaceas it reacts to the human voice. Tolerant to both background noise andspeaker variability under stress conditions, the system achievesisolated, speaker-independent word recognition. VRS-200 is compatiblewith all types of speaker input, including free-air, confined path, andear canal induction devices. VRS-200 is capable of generating both high-quality, digitally-recorded speech and unlimited text-to-speechsynthesis.
